Springs Water Park

Brought the kiddo since this place is so close by and wanted to give it a try instead of trekking to The Dells or Sheboygan. One Maine pool, one kiddo pool with playground and slide, one hot tube area, one lazy river and three tube slides in the back. Signs said you'd have to buy a day pass online but was able to get help from the nice folks at the arcade counter. Kiddo loves it and with a $5 observer pass you don't have to pay full price just to watch the kids. Would come back on weekdays when they have deals. There was an incident with poop in the pool while we were here, the life guard did a good job of shutting down the main pool asap.

We recently stayed overnight for New Year’s Eve! The room was nice and clean. We were planning 2 days spent in the water park. My 2 boys, age 5 and 7 had an absolute blast the first night. They were actually able to go down every water slide there. My only complaint is the smell of chlorine was so strong, my eyes would burn before even walking in to the water park area. My boys enjoyed all the fun activities for New years! The buffet was terrible! I’m glad we only paid for 2 passes for the kids. The chicken was cold and hard, the pizza was some of the worst I’ve ever had. It was a waste because they didn’t even want to eat it. So after standing in line for 45 minutes to even get the food, it was pretty much trash. After a few hours I noticed my 5 year old eyes were so red and irritated from the high levels of chlorine. He was up all night with his eyes burning and respiratory issues. I was up all night monitoring him. When my other son woke up he had a rash that I believe was from the chlorine levels. We ended up leaving and not going back the next day. It was disappointing but I’m glad they got to enjoy a few hours the night before. I’m positive it was from the water. I felt it in my eyes and my nose burning from the chemical smell. They were fine before we got there and fine once we got home. Unfortunately, not sure we’ll risk going back.
